"The place was very, very quiet (you only heard the rustling of th sea) and the view on the sea was extremely beautiful, one of the best sea views I ever saw (and I travelled a lot!). When I was there I also saw very many butterflies. The room was well equipped with fridge and tea facilities. The lady can make good meals. The village of Sauteurs is only half an hour walking from the place over a quiet road. Sauteurs is a little dull but has a certain Caribbean charm."

There is no airco. The cottages are on a slope, so sometimes you have to climb from your cottage to th reception and restaurant.

The neighbors in the neighborhood are also very friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more pleasant. The garden and outdoor space are just perfect. There is also a dining hall and a fully equipped kitchen that we used for a barbecue, plus bathrooms available on the ground floor near the kitchen and dining area. I did not understand it when booking, but our room had shared Bathroom and toilet, but it was fine, as there were no other people on the floor except us. Unfortunately the windows in our room are not openable. Even with existing ventilation and side fan it felt abit stuffy in the room.

Our bed was too soft for our taste, sofa is starting to get a little old but it was very comfy, and I’ve missed something to hang our swimming suits on.

"We were arriving late (11pm) by the ferry, James the manager has proactively sent a taxi to pick us which was super helpful (don’t try to walk up that hill at night, especially not with luggage!). While the Inn is definitely a budget option, it was all good and the views from the common area terrace in the morning were nice."

"Nos gustó lo espacioso, nuevo y limpio que era el apartamento.Vistas desde dormitorio a la Pagoda Shwedagon. Estuvimos 4 noches cómo en casa, limpieza diaria además con gimnasio en el edificio y destacar la amabilidad de la chica de recepción, nos dejó salir más tarde al tener bus nocturno. Es una pena que no vayan los turistas !!!"

"Pristine; large, pleasantly decorated rooms; hot and cold water on each floor and coffee at reception; beautiful view out the back of the mountains. Set in a very pleasant square with a number of good restaurants, well-located for the historic centre and the destinations up the valley. 30 minute pleasant walk to the cable car."

The room was basic (ie basic bathroom, wardrobe, tv, no desk) and was in the process of being cleaned when I arrived, but then this could be reflected in the 'budget' cost I paid for the accommodation.

"The apartment was stocked with many basic food items: Bread, butter, margarine, tea, instant coffee, salt, pepper, sugar, juice, milk, coke, and snacks, to the best of my memory. This was essential because we arrived at 3:00 AM and had to be ready for a tour at 6:00 AM. Also, some of that is expensive to buy when you must leave it behind if you are only there a few days. We liked that there was a security guard there and the building and area felt safe. Laundry facilities."
