"From the beginning when I booked, contacted in private, for further information, the host has been very nice. The place is located in a small hill with an amazing view and rivers sound. "We love the area, close to the ocean, the view is fantastic. We lived in Trou deau Douce 25 years ago at Valmarin. It was wonderful to be back and these apartments has so much potential, but unfortunately it’s not taking care of. The cleaning lady was very kind."

The apartments weren’t cleaned when we arrived. The underfloor apartment was full of black mold. The pool is not taking care of. No sunbeds. You could easily do a quick renovation, do some painting and take care of these apartments and it would be wonderful. Now we love this area and has lot of friends in Trou deau Douce so we wanted to stay there. We had no contact with the owners, they didn’t answer us, but the housekeeper/cleaning lady was nice and answered, she come and clean when we asked for it.

yo diría que si reservan no cuenten con el parking. Es imposible!!! sin embargo no dejaría de reservar por eso.

I did not understand it when booking, but our room had shared Bathroom and toilet, but it was fine, as there were no other people on the floor except us. Unfortunately the windows in our room are not openable. Even with existing ventilation and side fan it felt abit stuffy in the room.

"Espacioso, calefacción a buena, cocina equipada. Cafetera con cápsulas. Muy cerca de la plaza vieja unos 300 mt y del puente Carlos unos 800 mts. A 250 mts un centro comercial y supermercado. Buen servicio de internet. Dos duchas y dos baños independientes. Muy bien decorado. Muy amable atención. Un hermoso antiguo edifico decorado con muy buen gusto. Súper recomendable!"

We chose not to rent a car and found it difficult to get taxi drivers who wanted to bring us to the end of the street. We tipped well, people would give us their number and then not answer. Was not the condos fault but surprised at the taxi drivers

"Nos gustó lo espacioso, nuevo y limpio que era el apartamento.Vistas desde dormitorio a la Pagoda Shwedagon. Estuvimos 4 noches cómo en casa, limpieza diaria además con gimnasio en el edificio y destacar la amabilidad de la chica de recepción, nos dejó salir más tarde al tener bus nocturno. Es una pena que no vayan los turistas !!!"

"It is a very special location. The large rock pool is absolutely unique. Great for swimming and looking at coral fish. We have never seen this at any other place we stayed."

Located half way between the train/bus station & old town but shops/restaurants are close by. Lovely host who was very accommodating and response to my queries. Would definitely stay here again."

It did mention washing machine, but there wasn’t one in the apartment, but there may have been one available for the apartment complex. I didn’t need to do washing so didn’t follow up about it.
