"The evening meal provided at a very reasonable cost was one of the best I've had in a b&b. All organic salad and vegetables and that was also true of the wonderful breakfasts that are included in the room price. The location was spectacular, amazing views over the valleys below."

Our stay was simply too short to enjoy all the options this accommodation offers. It is also positioned well for island exploration. Oh, and not mentioning superb breakfast starting with a healthy shot. You will be in good hands and with a full stack of options for every day of exploration of charming Dominica."

I loved my room, the beach, the food… honestly, everything. A special mention to Rudi at the breakfast restaurant — she was truly lovely and made my morning better with the delicious mimosa she prepared for me. I ended up extending my stay by one more night, and the team helped me move everything seamlessly to my new room. Since it was raining and I was leaving that day, they even proactively offered to put some of my clothes in the dryer because they had been hanging outside, which was such a thoughtful touch. I can’t wait to go back. Waking up to those views is something I’ll never forget — everything was just perfect."

Bathroom has mouldy smell, so needs to open window for ventilation. The building doesn’t have elevator, so if you have big luggage, it will be an issue to move your luggage.

"Rose and the rest of the staff - they couldn’t do more to help and to make our stay the best! The place is in lovely old-style buildings with beautifully furnished rooms in a peaceful location. We loved the short cycle on complementary bikes to West Bay for the sunsets."

El café en el desayuno no era bueno. Pero el pan casero compensaba. Respecto a la calefacción me hubiera gustado un poco más caliente la habitación. Fueron días de mucho frío. Tenes que llevar acondicionador.

"1) Perfect location for those who want to explore the island, stay away from the tourist hot spot and experience “real” Aruba. 2) The house is very atmospheric and cozy, with lots of wooden furniture, an old wooden staircase that creaks charmingly, and a balcony from where you can observe iguanas on a large ficus tree just a few meters away. 3) Ingrid is an amazing host and a lovely person. She gave us great travel advice and was there when needed, without being intrusive. 4) Breakfast was just amazing!"

No hot water didn’t come as a surprise since we had read the reviews. Even though it’s common in Aruba, it’s worth mentioning.

"This was a surprisingly quiet, super well maintained accommodation on the outskirts of Lira. A great stopover spot on the way to/from Kidepo NP with a beautiful tranquil garden in which you can enjoy breakfast."

The smaller cabins are a little tightly packed together, but not an issue unless you're on honeymoon 🤗

"La cocina esta inmaculada. tiene todo lo necesario. da gusto poder cocinar ahi. la ubicacion es muy buena. es un poco alejado del centro, pero lo sufienciente para ir camiando por la peatonal y estar en un barrio mas tranquilo"

nos toco room1, y el sillon es la cama. y es una cama MUY DURA. la sabana proporcionada nos costó colocarla. apenas entra el elastico. las almohadas son grandes y blandas, incomodas para dormir (a mi gusto) el baño no tiene cortina, por lo que mojas todo a la hora de ducharte. el teclado de acceso a las puertas tiene un sonido muy fuerte al usarlo, lo cual incomoda a los vecinos y/o roomates. las puertas hasta tu habitacion son 3, y cada una con un codigo distinto. debes utilizar 3 codigos distintos para llegar a tu habitacion

"Good location near the main street with bus stop and supermarkets and restaurants. Room is clean and bathroom is newly renovated. Although the room is next to a main street there was no traffic noise. Great with parking included and breakfast included. Good with some cookies and dried wasa bread and coffee is available all day."

The wardrobe in the room was broken, the door cannot be opened. A towel for the floor in the bathroom was missing. The breakfast is a simple business breakfast and not a holiday breakfast buffet. Stairs to come to your room. So if you have luggage it is a bit trouble.

Fantastic terrace with swimming pool will make you really rest and relax. It was one of the best place where we have been. Highly recommend 🙂"
