"We stayed with our two kids and my husband - the kids were very happy to play with the cats in the garden. We had the opportunity to experience both the glamping tent and the room. "Es war genau die kleine Auszeit, die ich gebraucht habe. Der Wagen war gemütlich, sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet – man hat sofort gemerkt, dass hier mit Herz gearbeitet wird. Besonders schön war die ruhige Atmosphäre auf dem Platz. Ich habe die Stille und das Meeresrauschen sehr genossen, konnte endlich einmal richtig ausschlafen und bei langen Spaziergängen über die Insel abschalten. Abends auf der Terrasse zu sitzen, zu grillen und den Sonnenuntergang zu beobachten, war jedes Mal ein Highlight. Vielen Dank auch für deine freundliche Art und die unkomplizierte Kommunikation – das hat den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht. Ich komme sehr gern wieder und empfehle den „Lieblingsplatz“ mit bestem Gewissen weiter."

Das einzige kleine Manko war die etwas dünne Matratze im Bauwagrn.

The train every half an hour on 2 meters from our windows. The fence is not so high (safety?!). Also the busy road between the camping and the beach is dangerous. Lots of kids crossing that road. A tunnel would be solution.

"I just loved the concept of tipi in the forest. Very clean camping area, big forest surrounding the campground, lots of birds and of course the lovely semois by my feet. It’s also a family camping so as a solo traveler you feel pretty safe."

The “insolite” part, you aren’t quite insolite, other tipis were in use by families with children running around and shouting. This was a bit tiring since I hoped to be in a calmer area. But you manage, I was out hiking the whole day and at night I set up my bbq while the kids slept. Only early mornings were hard - at the same time the birds were as loud as the kids 😂

I would like more lighting on the street.

"We had a great stay at Moonys! Fernando is an amazing host who made everything possible. He even picked us up or organized transport when we needed it. We immediatly felt more like family than guests. The chalet is a beautiful place: clean and neat, and in the middle of nowhere. It is very quiet and a perfect place to relax."

There's nothing we didnt like. However you should consider transport: if you dont come with your own car, you depend on Fernando and you need to count in money, time and organization for commuting to wherever you wanna go. Taxis might not go all the way up to the chalet because its a dirt road. There's no supermarkets or restaurants close enough to walk to.

"Amazing little house with garden. Everything was very clean, a little oasis in nature. The host was great, made sure we had everything we needed. We can also recommend having dinner on the balcony. the food was delicious and it was so peaceful. Can 100% recommend! We also booked the safari to Uduwalawe directly with them, they organised everything and it was great!!"

"The cabin was a very unique place to stay! It was super cool, very clean, and it’s the cheapest accommodation option you can get on Aruba! It has a kitchen that is a huge plus.. cooking meal on Aruba is essential if you want to save money. It’s very near a great supermarket Cmart where you find absolutely everything. Walking distance from the airport if you can handle the heat."

It’s a bit far from the downtown.. 30min walk or you can take a bus that stops 50m from the house and leaves once in an hour. The place is kind of over organized..with their xxx items inventory and strict arrangements. Check out could be later.

"La vista al lago desde la piscina y el alojamiento"

Las sabanas y toallas no estaban limpias ,estaban con manchas. El menú era incompleto.Ponen escritos para elegir pero no tenían , era una pena. Ejemplo: queríamos guaraná,pescados ,tomates cherry , cheesecake y no tenían. Las mesas para usar afuera estaban quebradas no las reparan para asegurarlas para el siguiente uso.

"Malý rodinný kemp. Majitel příjemný, ochotný. Večer posezení u pivka, kdo chtěl, tak i s večeří. Bazén k dispozici večer i ráno. Naprostý klid a uvolnění. Spali jsme ve svém autě. K snídani vejce, uzeniny, sýr, rajče.. vše domácí a naprosto úžasná švestková marmeláda."

Záchody a sprchy v kabinkách vedle sebe, ale čisté.

"Everything was perfect. The apartment was well-equipped and comfortable, with hot water and an air conditioner, which was a good option for heating in winter."

It would be great if there were some extra blankets available, as we arrived in winter and there were only very light summer duvets on the beds.

"The cabin was so cute and cozy. Ton made everything to make the stay awsome. I enjoyed sitting outside and just listen to the coast."

The bathroom itselfe and the toilett is in another house but not far away from the cabin, just like 20 steps.

"Amazing position, right on the beach, immersed in nature. Managed by a gentle and polite family. Good wifi outside of the caravan. Recommended if you are looking for a caravan experience right on the beach and if you are willing to adapt."

The price we payed, due to the Booking.com platform fees, was overall too high with respect to the quality of the accommodation. There were many ants in our caravan (also in the bed). The floor was all covered with moquette (toilet included), which is not very hygienic, especially because the environment tends to get humid. Some windows were broken. Overall, I would suggest a better maintenance.

Swimming pool was closed for the four days I stayed there. Food options were limited but it was during Ramadan.
