"I absolutely loved the place! I came together with my friend with intention to relax and chill. The place was super cozy, relaxing and in a lovely calm area. When we came in november, there were still some wedding decoration left on the staircase (from the owners sons wedding the month before), and as a future bride myself I felt enchanted! "Excellent location, just a short walk from Lonnoc Beach and a 15 minute walk from the famous Champagne Beach; 20 minute ride to Port Olry. There is a small village (Hog Harbour Village) nearby, about a 20 minute walk, where you can buy local bread and fruit. Accommodation is very basic but serves its purpose. Mosquito coils and nets are provided. The local who looked after us, Melody, was very welcoming and kind, and made us delicious breakfasts and dinners. There were no kayaks available but they can be rented from the neighbouring Lonnoc Beach Bungalows."

Drainage in the shower is poor and the floor quickly becomes wet and muddy. Facilities are very worn out. The room has no shelving to put your belongings; this would be a great improvement. If you are on a budget, keep in mind that pretty much the only food options in the area are the restaurants at the lodge or at neighbouring accommodations, where a meal costs 1500-2000 vatu per person. The food is delicious though and there are local dishes - the paw paw curry was phenomenal.

"Nice place up in the Mountains oft pokhara. Clear view on the lake with a friendly community and simple but comfortable huts to stay and relax. The yoga shala is a beautiful place for yoga practice to reload and experience the serene surroundings. Recommended"

The place is very secure, and perfectly located being very close to the city center on one side and restaurants and bars on the other side (few minutes walk).."

"This is a place where everything works -- gas, electric, water. Enough pots and pans for everyone. We enjoyed the stay. The place was clean, sheets were clean, towels and soap present, and there was working cleaning tools to keep the place clean. The host had thought of everything. The WiFi was superb. And the park outside is well-maintained and enjoyable."

A work desk was missed. Indoor parking not available, but the are is quite safe and secure.

"Gmundnerberghaus is a hidden gem. The cottage is incredibly tidy, cozy, and well-maintained. The views of the green hills surrounding the property are absolutely stunning and provide a perfect backdrop for relaxation. A major plus: the actual location and atmosphere are even better than the pictures suggest! The photos on the website are modest compared to the wonderful reality. Highly recommended for a peaceful and beautiful escape."
