El Hostal Solor está situado en una pintoresca casa a 10 minutos a pie del centro y a solo 2 calles de la terminal de autobuses y del centro cultural de San Pedro de Atacama. Ofrece wifi gratis de alta velocidad (Starlink), desayuno diario en el comedor principal, habitaciones dobles (matrimoniales), todas con baño privado, calefacción central (invierno), ventilador (verano), mantas eléctricas o mantas inferiores (invierno), secador de pelo, toallas y artículos de aseo. Los huéspedes del Hostal Solor pueden relajarse en el patio y esperar tranquilamente en el salón mientras llegan para su visita. Siempre hay té y café gratuitos. Hay 3 plazas de estacionamiento gratuitas, pero hay que solicitarlo al hacer la reserva. Hay cámaras de seguridad dentro y fuera del hostel para mayor seguridad, aunque es un barrio tranquilo y seguro. El Hostal Solor se encuentra a 100 km del aeropuerto internacional de Calama. "The whole this was just brilliant. My boyfriend and I were very ill when staying here and the team working looked after us so well. They cleaned our room, organised transport to hospital, cooked us food and were so caring. They went above and beyond to make sure that we were as comfortable as possible."

"Perfect hot shower (important in a desert with water shortage). Triple room spacious enough but for two people. Impeccable cleaning. Simple but carefully prepared breakfast. Mini-market nearby for small needs. That said, Hostal Solor is an excellent choice if you want to stay in a quiet place, close to the bus station but only 10 minutes walk from the center."
