"Personal ist nicht hilfsbereit und nicht freundlich, wie wir es an vielen anderen Hotels in Equador erlebt haben, keine Parkplatzmöglichkeiten im Hotel obwohl es ein Parkplatz gibt, heisse Schokolade kostet Aufpreis zum Frühstück (auch sonst niergends erlebt in EC)"

"Excellent facility... absolutely beautiful and maintained well. Staff were friendly and accommodating. We were able to bring our dog without issue. Beach is right outside the back gate. Resort is far enough outside main part of town that there are no intrusive noises. A perfect getaway."

"Beautiful location on the Laguna. With the bridge into town gone it, feels like being out in the jungle and even walking along the road can provide interesting encounters with wildlife. Nice hammocks in the main esting area and a view our over the Laguna. Renting the canoe to go round the Laguna ($5pp) or getting a guided tour ($30) is well worth doing for the impressive range of wildlife you can see there including various monkeys, caimans, paiche, wild turkeys, many different birds and possibly snakes and turtles."

"I loved being at Rio Muchacho Farm in nature surrounded by orchards and forest, the bird life was phenomenal. It was off the beaten track which is what I was looking for. Breakfast was an experience because my tortillas were made in a wood oven and I could watch the whole process. I was also given fruit salad and granola and freshly brewed coffee in local traditional crockery."

"The location was great. Nice and handy to cafes and the centre of town. The check in went well once we eventually found the place. Goggle maps took us to an incorrect address. We ended up asking a restaurant owner and finally arrived. The super king bed was so comfortable and it was a bonus to have a big container of bottled water to help ourselves to."
