"It's close to Auchan and McDonalds. You can refuel. It was quiet. The air conditioning worked. The bed was comfortable. It has an indoor private parking lot that can be opened with a code, so your car is safe at night."

"The room had no windows, only the bathroom. The room felt a bit closed because of this. The toilet was facing the terrace, so you could see in and out. If it weren't so funny, we could say the layout wasn't good. The curtain was there so that people wouldn't see in if we didn't want to."

"We loved our stay at this biodynamic wine farm situated right on the banks of the beautiful Dordogne river. The location in the chapelle for breakfast , our conversation with Frédéric about this approach to farming . It is a unique and authentic experience.highly recommended."

"The auberge is absolutely beautiful and the host so gracious and kind. We had the double room with a terrace..spacious, very clean, spectacular shower! One km walk to town. Only recommendation is to bring snacks and wine as the town is bereft of shops other than restaurants and galleries. We took the 655 bus from St Paul de Vence train station and got off at the Furmentes stop before town and only had a 100 meter walk to the Auberge. Loved our stay!"

"Friendly hosts. Amazing collection of beautiful old buildings including barns (most unexpected given the town setting) with a lot of creativity on show. We stayed in a lovely large stylish ground floor room with generous bathroom. Breakfast was delicious, served buffet style. There is also secure parking at the rear of the property. Conveniently located for a lovely evening meal at the Cafe Restaurant de L’Abbaye just two minutes walk away (tip: worth booking in advance to be sure of a table). We didn’t have time to visit the Abbey so we plan to come back, and Le Relais du Beffroi will be the perfect place to stay when we return."
