"The room was quite basic but still very nice, the location couldn't have been better, directly opposite the train station (which was the reason I stayed in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, to get a train to Paris) and it was perfect. The staff were nice, I vaguely remember a bit of confusion over whether or not I'd paid the city tax, and I already had; they were very nice about it and just trusted me."
"For only £56 for the night, there wasn't anything glaringly missing."
"The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent. Small but comfortable rooms. Wifi didn't work but it didn't bother us."

"When I first arrived in freezing weather, it felt like the cable car station in "Where Eagles Dare." Instead, the very kind owner assigned me a brand new room with a fantastic TV and A/C, and a heated bathroom with a hairdryer. It was absolutely quiet, and I slept wonderfully. Recommended (if you're passing through)."
