"The hotel gym, while present, is minimal and not functional for serious workouts. It consists only of a treadmill, a heavily dated, non-operational multipurpose machine and lacks any free weights. This didn't bother me too much because I wasn't expecting to find a gym"

"Best location for a hotel. The balcony view of the square and sea view were great. The staff all were very helpful. The restaurants nearby were all excellent , the best meals on our vacation."

"It is expensive but it's all to do with location. Difficult to get out of area with bolt/uber. Better off walking 500m and getting one from there. That is no fault of the hotel of course."

"Great location, just steps away from the old town and the main shopping centre and less than a ten minute walk to the main beach. Reception staff were friendly and helpful and asked if we would prefer the check-in in French or English. They were happy to provide buckets of ice throughout our stay so that we could chill a bottle of wine to enjoy on our balcony. A fab room with an amazing view of the sea and the lighthouse. We have been staying here for years but the recent refurbishment of the rooms has taken this hotel to the next level. We can’t wait to return."

"We were incredibly impressed. Some of the negative reviews left us concerned prior to checking in. These negative reviews were obliterated by our experience. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were comfortable albeit with low ceiling in places. The air-con was excellent as was the breakfast. The location is the big selling point as it.ms proximity to shops, restaurants and the beach is second to none."
