"We have come to stay at le Barn for the second time and, like last time, loved our stay. It's a very special place nestled up into the countryside where one can sit by the fire, play boardgames, go on walks, ride horses and enjoy the sauna and nordic baths. It's a place where lots of young families come to enjoy a bit of tranquility and adventure - there's no place quite like it."

"We came with our 2-year old daughter and were first told ahead of our arrival that she could not be sleeping in (our own) baby cot in the standard room. When we arrived, that was possible after all - the policy is not very clear here and staff wasn't the most friendly about it. As on our first stay, we found the restaurant great, but too expensive to enjoy every night. It would be useful to have more affordable food options as well - especially with kids one doesn't want an elaborate meal for 80-100 Euros every evening. How about pizza or sandwiches that one can pick up at the counter? Finally, there is a need to rework the spa area, it is lacking showers available before and after the sauna (not in the changing rooms) as well as a place to rest and read a book snuggled up. It would be useful to take a look at the sauna culture in countries like Finland, Sweden or Germany where establishments have a more natural flow and functionality."

"The accommodation is located in separate barns away from the main reception. We arrived at 17h30 when it was dark. We found it impossible to locate our room as there was limited outside lighting Once we finally accessed the room, it was cold and a technician was called to fix the radiator Not a good welcome after a long 7 hour car journey."

"Outdoor chairs and table were dirty, no doormat for indoor hygiene protection. Too little kitchen facilities and bathroom was a bit smudgy too. For a farm house hotel, probably okay but the price was very high so you would expect a professional cleanse.."

"When we were there, there was a big conference happening so 80% of the spaces were privatised which no one informed us ahead of arrival. It made dining and relaxing options very limited. Apparently this happens often so I would check in with the property, especially if you're only staying one night as this doesn't allow you to fully experience what this property has to offer. The staff were amazing though and did all they could to accommodate us for dinner. Thank you so much for that!"
