"Breakfast was simple but very pleasant.. in the hosts kitchen with the other guests. Home made jams and yoghurt were a nice touch .The accommodation was simple but comfortable and great value for money."

"Mark and Trish have created a very large beautiful family home - which they share with their guests. They are extremely hospitable and welcoming. The house and rooms are stunning. Spotlessly clean and such tasteful decor. Nice thick curtains to ensure a dark room for a good nights sleep. Lots of lovely touches like fresh flowers on the dining table, good quality toiletries in the large bathroom, flannels as well towels provided - soft fluffy ones too (this stuff is important!), and a generous fresh breakfast. In the evenings - we always like tea - hot water was available in the dining room from the coffee machine and Trish provided mugs. Dinner available if you wish to do half board. Easy parking. Great location to visit many places (Duras, Gensac, Bergerac etc) in a fantastic region of france. A fantastic 2 day stay here."

The house is homely and very well equipped with everything you could think of. We had a variety of ages including teenagers and it worked very well for us. Its a really quite and peaceful part of rural France."
