The Manor House is a lovely period property with a gorgeous garden - full of historic character - it was commandeered by Gestapo Officers during the Second World War."

"The property is old and tired, which is its charm. If you like new this is not for you. It’s also a long way from anywhere so ask Vivienne to provide a dinner. It’s worth it."
