"We loved our 3 night stay in this lovely small apartment in an enchanting setting. From here we explored a number of ‘Villages de Caractere’ that the Ardeche is famous for. Unfortunately our stay was too short to take advantage of the pool and other amenities offered by our charming hosts, Elise and Philippe."

"This is a self catering apartment, so all the catering was ours, of course. There is a boulangerie a short walk away, so easy to buy baguettes for breakfast. A trip to the supermarket in Ribeauville sorted out the basics. It is difficult to do self catering in the middle of a touring holiday, as you can't take with you all the things you might need to start off. Here in the UK, there is almost always a welcome pack of food to start you off, but this obviously isn't the norm in French self catering."

"Very pleasant gîte where we stayed during a wedding weekend. Wonderful hosts, present at all times and very kind. Our room had a fantastic outdoor area that we really enjoyed, tucked under a fig tree that smelled amazingly. The pool and gardens were also great to spend the hottest hours of the day. Parking area in the shade was also great!"

"This property was not difficult to find, and we were lucky to find a space right outside in which to park., The apartment is spacious - 2 good-sized double bedrooms, a shower room and toilet, a small, cozy and well-equipped kitchen, and a big lounge with access onto a large terrace with table and chairs. Built on a hill, the property entrance is at ground level but the rear is at first floor level. We could look down over a back garden or look up and over the town to a hill beyond. St Claude is an interesting little town to look around with plenty of places to eat and drink. Definitely worth another stay in this apartment on our next trip!"
