"This is a family recreational resort with some dorms. Mine was inside the main building near the inside pool and table tennis area. The showers and two toilets are those used by the pool guests. I was fortunate to have only one female dorm mate. There are lockers outside in the hallway and you are given a room key. The manager kindly lent me sheets. I liked the location in the woods not far from the pedestrian street."

The kitchen could use some new utensils. There were no cups or glasses, just some plastic cups.

"The host was excellent friendly and communicative. The accommodation was well laid out and easily accessible. Breakfast was good and on time!"

Access was an initial challenge as this was not automated so you cannot let yourself in and had to wait until someone respond to the telephone! A ringing doorbell at the gate or at the front door would be helpful!

"La mejor ubicación posible. Cerca de todo pero en una calle tranquila. Te sentirás como un local. Recomiendo al menos 2 noches para recorrer todos los rincones de Brujas, sobre todo cuando se van los turistas que van por el día. ¡Que son muchos! Incluye cafetera con pods para hacerte unos buenos cafés para disfrutar con los bombones que dejan de bienvenida. También, dejan saquitos de té con sutil sabor a naranja. Recibís todas las instrucciones para ingresar al edifico y a la recepción. Hay un elevador para equipaje que resulta muy conveniente. Además, la persona que lo gestiona responde mensajes muy rápido, y puede recomendar lugares donde comer y tomar cerveza local. Todo eso hace una estadía muy placentera y relajada."

Realmente no hay nada que no me haya gustado.

"We had a really wonderful time at Hotel Dionisio Inn! It's close to everything you may want to visit in Antigua and the staff was really wonderful, kind, and attentive. Even if the language barrier, they always remembered what we were up to and asked how things were. Whenever we had a question, they were always ready to help out. It's not often that we've met such helpful and nice staff members. The room was clean, comfortable, and so much better than a lot of other places we stayed at on our trip in Guatemala. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely book it again if we ever go back to Antigua."

"Perfect apartment just in front of the sea and at 50 meters to your swim. Quiet, clean, big, and very good host. Yes, a little bit away from the village, 1 kilometer?, but it is just a matter of a short walk. Defenetely we do recomend it. We wish we could have staid longer Many thanks 😊"

The short time we staid there, barely a day and a half

"Wonderful to be the only guests staying in the hotel, it felt special to have a chef come in to make our meals, which were very good. We had our dog with us sge was showing in a competition on site, she was welcomed and as we were the only guests she sat in the dining room with us. She was very relaxed and the next day came 1st in her Breed. We will return for another event soon."

Perhaps the bedroom could have been warmer.

"La habitación era amplia tal cual la foto, buen baño y tranquila la zona aún estando en la zona de la ciudad antigua, muchos restaurantes y bien conectado con todos los transportes. Mi habitación daba a un jardín interno que se escuchaban pajaritos super lindo! En la parte del hotel ofrecen cafés y bebidas de cortesía que son un buen gesto"

Me hubiera gustado que me indicaran antes de llegar a la dirección que el checkin debía hacerlo en otra dirección, si bien era cerca venía cargada con dos valijas y me tuve que mover mucho.

"Amazing location right on the beach, quiet surroundings yet not too far away from shops, restaurants and the city center. The house was spacious and clean with A.C., a fan and a fully equipped kitchen with fridge. Mr. Dagobert was very kind and welcoming, he also picked us up from the station. Thank you, it was a really nice stay!"

Keep in mind the accomodation is very basic and I think some renovations could be done, for instance our room didn’t have mosquito nets.

"Quiet place, a little out of the way but easily accesible through public transporte or uber. Beautiful view of the city and close to Montserrate. Owners are very kind and it is a family run buisness. Definitely would recommend."

"Great house with all the equipment you might need, including a microwave and full kitchen tools. The atmosphere was very pleasant, and the host was wonderful—funny, talkative, and always helpful. The location is excellent, close to everything we wanted to see. You can park your car right in front of the house. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Highly recommended!"

"Good location by the sea which is not far from the main street of Palau where you can find restaurants and groceries (less than 10 minutes walking). Huge room and comfy beds. The staff is really friendly and he dropped us off at the airport. No complaints"

"A very warm and helpful host who gave us great support. My mother unfortunately injured herself while hiking and he didn't hesitate for long and applied hot compresses with salt. As she could no longer walk, he even gave her a walking frame and drove us personally to the train station on our departure. The location was great. "We very spontaneously managed to arrange accommodation in an emergency situation. The landlady was immediately reachable by phone and even came to meet us by car so that we could find the accommodation quickly. She arranged a taxi for us into the city and helped us with the payment, as we no longer had any cash. The landlady was extremely helpful and very accommodating. We also liked the accommodation a lot, especially the view from the balcony."

"Great location by the sea and near the harbour. Nice, old-fashioned interior decoration, mirroring the age of some of the buildings. Very friendly staff who let us keep our freezer packs in their freezer. We went kayaking for one night, could leave our car at their parking lot, and when we came back we could use their facilities to get a fresh water shower."

"The bed was comfortable and the room spacious. The bathroom was old but the hot water worked well. There was a fridge. Overall a decent stay."

The toilet leaked all over the bathroom floor. It feels a bit out of town but only a short drive away.
