The rooms are quite spacious and have enough sockets and furniture. There are a couple of stores around and even a local eatery with tasty food. "I had a simply wonderful time here. The host is exceptionally kind and always available for any questions, at any time of day. The room was clean, tidy, and pleasant, a cozy little guest unit that felt very private and welcoming. She’s also an amazing cook, the meals were delicious, thoughtful, and full of love. All around is the magical quiet of an authentic village, with green nature and a calming view. You’ll also be greeted by Chucha, the sweet family dog, who clearly loves guests and adds even more charm to the stay. A warm, peaceful local experience, exactly what I was hoping to find."

La cama es un poco incomoda y la habitación bastante calurosa para el verano pero hay un ventilador.

The only bad experience was that there was no WiFi connection. I was unable to communicate with friends and family back home which made them worried and scared.

The kitchen had everything you needed while away. The outdoor area was relaxing and the bed very comfortable. Although we were sharing the house with other people it was a perfect place to stay. Thank you to Jamal for being so accommodating!"

"Nice size single room with private bathroom and air-com. Very central both to the old part and the main train station. There was a fridge, a kettle and chai offering and water in the room. I read reviews complaining about lighting which I found sufficient and about duvet and for me was also ok despite being August because of air-con."

The only problem I found was the toilet floor getting get after shower. I have been in some guest houses like this and they offer sandals which saves the problem.

No filters for the coffee maker. The streets are in bad shape once you drop off the Main Street to get to the house.

"Beautiful location and a more friendly owner is hard to find! Shodman ate dinner with us, told us about the area, took us on a fantastic hike and helped organize our trip back to Samarkand. The food was among the better we had in Uzbekistan."

The only thing that was not great was that since we were there in November it was pretty cold at night even inside when eating etc but they had heating fans which worked quite well.

Ideally located to visit tourist attractions within reasonable radius. Piggs Peak town 1km away and provides all necessary shops, fuel stations and off course a KFC."

Intermittent electricity due to poor infrastructure in Mount Hagen. The room is outside off a veranda so when it rains and the wind blows you might also get wet when going inside to use the toilet. I would have preferred a firmer mattress and slightly larger room.

"The big windows in one room. The other room had no windows though, though this made it a lot quieter than the room with windows overlooking the car park. The woman who cooked breakfast was always so friendly and nice."

THE TOILET IS IN THE ROOM. there is room for a door, but not a door. There is no privacy. It’s overlooking a car park. It’s super noisy. No cleaning or refreshing the room during your stay. Told us the front desk closed at 5.30pm late morning of the day we were due to arrive.
