For me, having visited the Singapore tourism highlights on a previous visit, it was not an issue at all, but good to be aware that those highlights take a bit of time to get to. Also good to be aware you are welcomed into an actual home while the owners are living there. It's part of the charm.

"This was our second stay, but in the bigger villa. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. Having everything we needed right there was super convenient. Definitely made the whole trip smoother and more enjoyable. Can't wait to come back again sometime."

"I booked for a Night, but i stayed for one week. I really liked it. The best accomodations in Gambia. Very good price! Comfortable, big bed! AC and Van and big TV with netflix... and hot water. A shared kitchen is also there. The village is very authentic and many cute kids around. A few shops and a restaurant about 10min walking. Lamin was always available, friendly and helpful. Very spontanously he took me to the airport, i had some problems and he helped me there with everything and he was waiting the whole time to see if i am fine. Very good man! It was a comfortable, nice, stressfree ending of my travel there. Thank you so so much :D"

"A quiet place to spend two or three days of relaxation. The staff is very kind and ready to help you with any problem. "We had a wonderful stay here at this accomodation. First: the adress. Is located in a veeery dreamy place, it seems like it is taken out from a fairytale: nature, snow, quiteness, just wonderful. Second: the accomodation itself. It is very beautiful, very very clean, very warm (we slept in light pijamas), very quiet. Third: the owners. They were extremely nice with us, they gave us advice for the northern lights, we chatted with them and they were very friendly and nice people. If i ever want to come back in rovaniemi, surely i will come back to this accomodation and i will reccomend it."

There is nothing we didnt like. Everything was perfect.

There were 2 ladies at the reception - one of them was exceptionally kind, the other one was passive aggressive and rude (I only talked to her on the phone).

We had a couple dead cockroaches in the place that wasn't our favorite. We also had a line of fire ants on the wall in the master bedroom. There were also a lot of cockroaches outside of the apartment and one ended up getting into our vehicle which the kids didn't like

"Very good location, close to the city beach , 5 min on foot. There is a pool on property which is very practical when it is hot during the day and you do not feel like walking to the beach. An outdoor kitchen is available, there is a gas stove, BBQ place etc, very useful for people wanting to cook. The apartment is clean, spacious and right for our group. The hosts are extremely nice people, ready to help when needed. I would definitely recommend this place to travellers! Thank you Safar guest house!"
