Los baños super cómodos y con shampoo y acondicionador. Cocina amplia y bien equipada, apta para muchas personas Muy buen nivel de instalaciones aunque me parece carísimo 70 dolares una habitacion compartida. Es excelente pero tampoco vale eso compartir habitacion, no puede ser"

"Es un albergue que tiene todo lo que necesita un viajero de bajo presupuesto. Bien ubicado , con habitación grande, sábanas limpias , excelente limpieza en general , una cocina disponible. "Me sorprendió primeramente la ubicación, al lado de un campo. Pero después de un rato me gustó la tranquilidad del lugar. No está lejos de los lugares para visitar. El desayuno, si bien algo básico, puede considerarse mas que suficiente. Me sorprendió tremendamente la "autonomía" del lugar. Casi que no había gente para la atención del público. En la noche, por lo que pude apreciar, no había recepción, lo cual por un lado me generaba ciertos interrogantes al momento de necesitar algo, pero por otra parte, me daba tranquilidad no tener que suponer hechos delictivos, muy común en otras partes.-"

Tendría que pensar mucho qué fue lo que no me gustó, porque la verdad fue muy placentero estar allí.- Aunque lo único que no me agradó es que se nos cobrase la estadía del auto, siendo que había lugar de sobra para alojarlo.-

"Doba and his family were exceptionally welcoming, outgoing, and fun. We spent three nights at chez doba, and went on two hikes each day, to different waterfalls, viewpoints, and villages. In the evening we played football with the children and drank beer and tea with the locals. Special shoutout to Amadou, our guide for our stay - a great guy! Highly highly highly recommend Campement Chez Doba to anyone visiting Senegal, its been the highlight of our trip. We also booked onto an extra trip with Doba to tour a nearby bedik village, which was very picturesque! Doba Tours also offers other tours around Senegal, including Dakar and Niocolo Koba National Park, which we didnt use, but heard good things from other guests. The food was good and the bedrooms were clean and comfortable!"

"Great helpful staff, freshly cleaned room. I arrived earlier than planned and they quickly swept and mopped the room and made up my bed while I waited. Super central location. Showers were hot. Got given a roll of toilet paper on check in which seems like a great solution to previous negative reviews saying toilet paper ran out and wasn't topped up. Great value for money"

There was no common area to hang out in like a lounge or courtyard or kitchen, but even still I made new friends just in my dorm room, in the corridor and in the bathroom while brushing my teeth. Probably not ideal for light sleepers as there is a karaoke bar nearby but I really enjoyed being able to hear all the singing!

- would have been great if there were a kettle for guests' use. Needed some hot water to soothe my stomach and had to ask the staff to boil a cup for me.

"I stayed here after I had done a 12 day tour trough Mongolia. I just needed a room and shower for myself, since I didn’t have that for over a month (I was traveling elsewhere before the 12 day tour). I stayed 2 nights and the bed was super comfortable! The whole place is nice and clean and very close to a market where they sell everything for very cheap. It’s also an easy 20 minute walk from the central square. The lady was very nice and let me stay a bit longer on the day I had to check out, which was really helpful for me. Thanks again!"

"Very chilled hostel, small and compact. Very clean with constant cleaning of bathrooms and kitchen. 10 min walk to castle and coast."

Dorms are by the main road and very noisy with traffic so hard to sleep. Creaky floorboards also.

"Lovely staff, really informative and kind. The hostel Backpackers was clean, comfortable and nice inside and out. Absolutely brilliant location - close to bus stops, Cuba Street, good eateries and has all you could need in the Backpackers. A fully functional kitchen, a lounge where you can chill with your buddies, board games to play, a nice outdoor deck. I also like the fact they had a female only bathroom downstairs. The showers were excellent, too!"

The bedroom I stayed in didn't have a lock that worked on the door, which was a bit concerning. I don't love that.

"Property had a really nice hang out space and the WiFi worked really well and was very fast for our 2 day stay. Staff helped us arrange a local bus to Chipata."

Rooms very very basic and had a mould issue. But other than that was okay. We didn’t have bed bugs in our room, but we met other backpackers in the dorm beds that said they did have them…
