"Lovely staff, really informative and kind. The hostel Backpackers was clean, comfortable and nice inside and out. Absolutely brilliant location - close to bus stops, Cuba Street, good eateries and has all you could need in the Backpackers. A fully functional kitchen, a lounge where you can chill with your buddies, board games to play, a nice outdoor deck. I also like the fact they had a female only bathroom downstairs. The showers were excellent, too!"

The bedroom I stayed in didn't have a lock that worked on the door, which was a bit concerning. I don't love that.

"Todo. Nunca vi algo tan limpio y que sin recibir turistas todo el tiempo siguen limpiando y manteniéndolo 10 puntos. La pileta impecable. La realidad es que Myanmar todavía no está recibiendo casi turismo y la verdad es que ver a todo el personal como se esmeran porque todo esté a la perfección por más que seas la única de todo el hostel es admirable. El AC tira bastante poco y si Tenes la suerte de tener electricidad, esos momentos en qué hay se disfrutan el doble. si deciden ir a bagan no duden en pasar por ostello bello. IMPECABLE!!"

Bagan está teniendo bastante pocas horas de electricidad y si bien tienen generador lo pueden usar bastante poco. con tanto calor por momentos se hace difícil. Pero por suerte está la pileta para refrescarte.

"La ubicación es excelente, rodeado de naturaleza, tiene una terraza y espacio al aire libre para disfrutarlo. Muchos senderos de trekking parten desde allí. El hostel tiene cocina, tiene buen desayuno, las habitaciones son cómodas y la atmósfera del lugar junto a la gente que allí trabaja lo hacen completamente recomendable!"

The noise from the street is unbelievable. Too much irritating all the time.

"Property had a really nice hang out space and the WiFi worked really well and was very fast for our 2 day stay. Staff helped us arrange a local bus to Chipata."

Rooms very very basic and had a mould issue. But other than that was okay. We didn’t have bed bugs in our room, but we met other backpackers in the dorm beds that said they did have them…

"Very chilled hostel, small and compact. Very clean with constant cleaning of bathrooms and kitchen. 10 min walk to castle and coast."

Dorms are by the main road and very noisy with traffic so hard to sleep. Creaky floorboards also.

"Me gusto que el personal es super amable, llegue como a eso de las 11 am y pude guardar mi maleta perfectamente. tambien pude tomar aguar y buen cafe. Los amigos de la recepcion son geniales. Es seguro y centrico."

Todo estaba bajo control no tengo ninguna queja del lugar estan dentro del rango de un buen hostal. Quizas seria bueno hubiese una area para calentar comida o acondicionar mas la cocina del piso.

"Excelente atención y asesoramiento para visitar los puntos de interés de Yangshuo. Está a metros del puerto y Laozai Hill, restaurantes y la calle antigua. Inmejorable ubicación."

"Wonderful staff; onsite restaurant including with a wide choice on menu, reasonably priced if using the unofficial exchange rate. My room was situated by the lake edge and was such a wonderful experience listening just to the waves crushing in the night and awaking to a wonderful sunrise. Truly bliss. Thought powered by solar, my shower was reasonably hot and lighting though dim was constant. I still recommend taking a torch for the sometimes power cuts. Be sure to arrange a boat trip….. you won’t regret it. Eagle bird, cliff jumping and snorkelling. One might even be able to visit the Rastafarian community near by."

Wifi was only available in reception area and to reach room I had to negotiate a steep set of stairs where railings were sometimes missing. Could be potentially dangerous and not recommended if one suffers from knee problems. Whilst orders were excellent the service could be vastly improved. Orders took for ever to arrive and were often cold. Management, if reading, please sort this out!

"Great place to stay in Noukchott. The place itself is beautiful, and in a nice neighbourhood within walking distance to anything you'd want to see. The bungalows are cosy and comfortable. Great hot showers and good buffet breakfast. Contrary to some other uncharitable reviews, I found the young guys working there to be helpful and pleasant. Sebastien the owner gives great travel advice. 10/10, would repeat!"

"For the price I got a little studio apartment with plenty of room. The place is a bit spread out and falls down a hillside. Great views and a good breakfast. Staff welcoming and fun. Needed a taxi to get to the town but cheap and easy to arrange"
