"Beautiful hotel and hotel area with countryside setting - a very relaxing and quiet atmosphere. Nice and helpful staff. Food & drinks were mostly very good (although a bit overpriced in my opinion). We did the wine tasting and "aperitif in the fields" - can highly recommend these activities. Water was included at no extra cost which was much appreciated. There is the opportunity to try several different wines in a machine free of charge (you get a card to put in) - fun and good idea."

"I went for a massage - the massage itself was good, however the woman who gave me the massage was grumpy and not very nice. She barely respond to my calls and seemed very bored. I left some clothes to be ironed, but had to pay the same price as for both washing and ironing (no big deal but a little sneaky). The dining room where breakfast and dinner are served is very hot. I understand that it is difficult to cool such a large and old building during the summer, but it was not very pleasant to eat in that heat, especially during dinner when I think the temperature was around 25 degrees. Summary - the hotel is in a very beautiful location and the level of service is high. However, I think it is a bit overpriced for what you get."

"My stay at Susafa in Palermo, Sicily, was nothing short of exceptional. "The remote location was perfect for switching off and relaxing. The pool was beautiful and plenty of sun loungers. The food was amazing, the breakfast was faultless and all of the dinners we had were delicious. The buildings were gorgeous. The staff were incredible and were a real highlight of the stay."

"For a luxury hotel, there were a few minor things that I wouldn’t have expected - the pool towels we were given were a bit tatty (threads hanging out and some small holes), and there was some mould in our room. The farmhouse is extremely old so damp is understandable but not ideal for paying customers. Additionally it would have been nice to have more variety of snacks available, as we were in the middle of nowhere we couldn’t pop out for some smaller snacks and the menu options were too elaborate for a quick snack."
