"We really liked the hotel. The room was large and the breakfast was very nice. Very kind hosts. We also liked the small dog and piano!"

"In general, we have no real issues. The floor in the room was a bit cold and hot water switched off a few times. But all else was great"

"Our stay at Villa Borgo Duino was very pleasant. Despite the rainy weather, we felt right at home. The cleanliness was impeccable, and we enjoyed excellent coffee and breakfast each morning. Safe parking was provided in the yard behind a secure automatic gate. A nearby bus stop made it easy to reach both the city of Trieste and Miramare Castle. The villa is also conveniently close to a charming small port and the sea. The room was spacious and beautifully renovated, blending new and old with a keen sense of design. It felt warm and inviting. The bathroom was truly a dream—spotlessly clean and modern."

"Nothing to complain about—although, hopefully, with time, the entrance area will be slightly polished and modernized to match the style of the rooms."

"We had a lovely short stay in Duino at Villa Borgo Duino. Location of this little hotel ist just perfekt, not far away from a small port, Duino Castle or Rilke Trail to Sistiana. Hotel owners are super nice, welcoming was very warm and informativ. Miss Nicoletta, who we believe is the good spirit of this hotel, was allways friendly and made the best breakfast buffet every morning. We give you guys 5* for everything!"

"This is truly a 5-star experience out of 5. The room is spacious enough for a comfortable stay. Every detail—from the crisp, white towels and feather-soft, high-quality linens to the large shower (especially for Italy) with excellent water pressure and the comfortable beds—leaves no doubt about the quality of this hotel. In November, the heating ensured the room and bathroom were wonderfully warm and cozy. The private parking on the hotel premises is convenient and secure."

"The pool wasn't usable at this time of the year, and not much vegan food/allergy notes at breakfast, but I also didn't mention so they might have accomodate."

"Host is really kind person, villa is well sustained and furnished with a good sense of style. You can have home-like experience while staying there. Breakfast were delicious, smell of breakfast downstairs makes you wake up."
