"The staff were so friendly The communal areas were beautiful and really comfortable the rooms were stunning, perfectly clean (and offered to clean each day!) really good value for money amazing pool area - although pool very cold breakfast was great - continental and then cooked too! fridge area and kitchen was also very good"

"WiFi didn't reach room Freezer space would have been good a drive/ bus journey away from any restaurants street was noisy outside our room (room 3) in the morning around 7"

"Quiet Well equipped- lovely sitting areas. Great pool area. Fabulous breakfast. Good to have use of the kitchen and fridge. Friendly. Comfortable bedrooms. Sat in the lounge to watch a film."

"Everything about Maria's was absolutely fabulous. Home from home. Beautiful old renovated building and plenty of comfortable communal areas and verandas ...including a fully equipped kitchen and area in fridge for groceries. Bedrooms were comfortable with kettle and provided teas/coffee and even biscuits on arrival. Swimming pool and lounge area was fabulous in a tranquil surroundings. Breakfast was amazing ..so miss it! Staff were soooo friendly and accommodating and never a dull moment with victor the owner... Hillarious 😀 Will definitely 💯 be returning!!! Thank you 🙏"

"Loved Victor and all staff. Pool area was lovely with plenty of shade when required. Kitchen and own fridge shelf were a great touch. Loads of local character. Walking in local area always felt safe and despite rural location was largely well lit for coming home."

"15 min walk to supermarket and further to restaurants. A car would be useful but we managed with taxis. Given the distance, resupply of water to the room would be helpful."

"Lovely host and helpful staff. Comfortable beds. Great room with Air Con, fantastic shower. Superb breakfast. Well located for exploring Gozo. Nice small hotel that has cooking facilities and fridge for guest use. Victor is particularly knowledgeable about the history of Gozo."

"Nothing negative to say but you really do need a car because of the location; however, Ubers were readily available too."

"This was a lovely and cosy place to stay, being a converted traditional farmhouse, which gave it real character. The pool was a welcome addition after a hot day exploring but the best thing was the attention we received from the family owners and the staff who were very welcoming and friendly and gave us many good tips of where to visit or eat on the island, as well as information about Malta and Gozo's history. We were also served a wonderful breakfast every morning in the courtyard, freshly made to order. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here."

"The original keys used for the doors were quaint and charming but they were heavy to carry around and a bit tricky to operate. This wasn't a big deal however."

"Amazing little gem! Super rooms, great staff, good breakfast and so on. We’re already planning our next stay. If you’re looking for a place away from the crowds to relax this is the place to go. Wish we would have stayed more than 6 nights! Gozo and Maria’s BnB is amazing!!"

"This is actually not a negative thing as we wanted to be away from the crowds. But keep in mind that this place is a bit secluded. You need a car or take Ubers around (as we did). But it was fairly cheap and easy. 10 minute walk to a supermarket that have most things. Unfortunately we had some issues with some very noisy guests for a couple of days, but the staff did a great job to help with the situation."
