"si bien el hotel está en un edificio anodino, la ubicación es excelente y la casa antigua donde se toma el desayuno es muy interesante la persona que nos recibió fue super amable y nos dio recomendaciones de dónde comer y qué ver en la zona"

"The owner is very personable and ready to answer questions or just chat. The hotel is a bit like a bed and breakfast, very cozy and relaxed vibe. It also has its own little bathing spot on the water, and really a very nice stay at a locally-owned small hotel."

"I loved the private fjord jetty for swimming and sun bathing right opposite the hotel. It looked like it had been recently updated and the garden was well maintained. The hotel is in a great location in Balestrand - overlooking the fjord and less than a 5 minute walk from the boat dock and the shops. The breakfast is excellent with a wide selection of savoury and sweet options including eggs, smoked salmon, cured meats and yogurts."

"It was a wonderful experience. Balestrand is a lovely town and this inn is a perfect complement. The inn keeper couldn’t have been nicer and he went out of his way to make us feel welcomed."
