"Extremely reasonably priced, slightly uncoordinated but very nice staff, relaxed and trusting atmosphere. I really liked that I could go and have breakfast whenever I wanted in the morning. The room was standard sized with bathroom, the beds were nice. I was the only guest that day, so the stay was very quiet :-)"

"Stille, rolig og vennlig. Hjemmekoslig og ujålete, med personale som virket oppriktig interessert i å gjøre det beste for deg. Lite lydisolering i bygget, hørte derfor godt de som sto opp kl 06 om morgenen, men kortvarig og ubetydelig "problem", egentlig."

"Almost everything was there to spend few days comfortable (the kettle but was missing but we didn’t miss it too much - found a way to boil the water for hot beverages)."

"The location was great - a very short walk into town and fab for exploring the local area by car. It was also good to stay in a Norwegian property. Although it was a small room we were very welcomed in the house and had many good conversations with Lisbeth’s mum who also gave us some very good tips on where to go."

"It was amazing, a historic house fully renovated and overwhelming comfy in the Norwegian "nowhere" with hosts who really care of their guests, prepared many lovingly things and information. Our stay was way too short to try hikes in the wood or using the raw boat. This is an absoluty "yes, anytime again"!"

"We had quite low expectations, but the stay exceeded all of them by far :). We got a bit different rooms from what we’ve seen on the picture, or in our imagination… but they have only 5 special rooms, and all of them have their own story and design. The house is more than 200 years old, it has a long history, and you feel it in the air, in every small detail of the house, all the attention and details of décor. The house has impressive yard (if you are lucky with the weather), you can swim in the sea. The bathrooms and a toilet are shared among all the tenants, but we had no queues or overlapping with our other tenants staying the same night. It was one of the most unique hotels we stayed at, it has a soul! Lovely stay and experience for our family of four."
