"The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The facilities and service I received were top notch. I never felt like I was staying in a budget hotel. The lake view from the terrace was also great. The only mistake I made was choosing the wrong room. I should have opted for one with a lake view. But that was my mistake for choosing that room. Overall, my experience was excellent. If anyone is planning to stay here, please don’t repeat the mistake I made and choose a room with a balcony."

"I had a great stay here. The rooftop with hammocks became my favorite spot to relax and meet interesting travelers. A climbing gym is just a 2-minute walk, and within 3 minutes you’re already in the jungle and at the foot of the mountains, so it’s super easy to go hiking. The staff kindly stored my luggage for free while I went on a multi-day trek. There’s a guest kitchen with a fridge, everything was comfortable, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming."

"I stayed for 6 days, 2 to start and 4 at the end. The place is relaxing with good basic breakfast. Location is in Thamel. Owner was very helpful with calling the cab including early morning flight to Lukla. Bed, shower and room were very comfortable. The neighbourhood is quite noisy with traffic and dogs, but nothing a set ear plugs can't take care of."

"We loved this Homestay. The owner is one of the kindest men I have met at a Homestay/hotel. He is so helpful, friendly and genuinely makes sure you are comfortable and happy. The breakfast was very tasty, we had good hot water for showering, it has a very beautiful patio/garden and its close enough to the main square. I definitely recommend this place and cant wait to go back. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant and for all your help and kindness!"

"I truly can’t recommend this place enough! I had a wonderful stay at Hotel National Park thanks to the beautiful family that runs the place, Suraj in particular. I arrived with no plans and he helped me to fill my days here with so many incredible ways to see the national park. He organized safari trips for me with guides who are local to the area and truly speak the language of the jungle- super knowledgable, friendly, and kind people. The hotel itself has beautiful outdoor space and balconies, rooms are very clean and well kept, and there is an onsite restaurant with nice food and quick service. The biggest draw is the family-like atmosphere. I immediately felt so welcome, safe, and comfortable here. Great location walking distance to the town but far away enough that there’s plenty of peace and quiet."
