"My father and I loved this property for a mini holiday in Stockholm. The location was excellent, right in the centre of beautiful Gamla Stan, the main square, lovely cafes and restaurents. We enjoyed the space and being able to have our own breakfast. It was a very clean and comfortable apartment. The only thing that was tricky for my father was getting in and out of the bath to shower, but we were expecting this from the details on the website and reviews. All the information sent by host was clear and easy to follow. Would highly recommend this"

"The apartment is very clean, comfortable and spacious. Rooms are welcoming - cozy, warm, nicely furnished and decoratedand. The bed is very comfortable to sleep on and the kitchen was easy to use. EVERYTHING was thought of in this apartment - from toiletries to breakfast making facilities. Me and my husband liked excellent location - we were able to visit many historical places near the property. And of course the host - attentive and extremely helpful! In my opinion it's the best place to stay in Stockholm."

"Excellent location for a 3-day stay: everything we wanted to see or do was within easy walking distance. Property itself was exceptionally characterful— loved the old wooden beams, quirky angles, old tiled stoves (don’t worry, the heating is electric now) and amazing to think it is 400 years old. We enjoyed the envious looks we got every time we went in the low wooden front door. Nicely decorated, well equipped, decent shower and comfortable beds. Head-height a bit low: fine for us but might feel cramped for someone over 6 foot."

"Not the property’s fault but it does back onto a street of restaurants etc that remains fairly lively until the small hours (no music or anything too obnoxious— just excited tourists shrieking as they walked along). Probably not a problem in cooler weather but we we visited during a heatwave so had to leave some windows open."

"The communication with the host was fantastic, the location was perfect and the apartment is so special, great vibe and excellent mix of history and comfort. We especially enjoyed the balcony, because the weather was stunningly beautiful, so we used it to enjoy coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at sunset. And to work on a little tan throughout the day, what a treat!"

"The apartment is spacious and light filled in a beautiful historical building. In an exceptional location. The service from William when we had an issue was exceptional. We did a walking tour which specifically highlighted the building as having features very typical of the early 1600s. The coffee machine with generous provision of quality beans, and washing machine were excellent. The towels were the best quality of our one month trip and we had no problems with the hot water."

"The pillows were flat but we were provided additional luxurious pillows when we mentioned this. The ad on booking.com is misleading- not all apartments have a terrace or roof top views- William satisfactorily resolved this issue for us."
