The water pressure is too slow and the road to go the house is a bit bad road.

"Spacious, comfortable and clean villa close to the popular beach of Tofta. Our kids loved the private pool and ping-pong table. Thanks to the generosity of the owner, we were able to explore the island and left feeling both wiser and entertained. Highly recommended!"

Everything was lovely. One small note only: it would have been nice if sheets were included in the rental, as guests might assume they are.

"Villa Fleur de Lys is a great sized villa, right on the beach, with a swimming pool and has excellent amenities. The rooms are large, with comfortable beds and en suite bathrooms. There is a kid's games room and an entertainment centre with a gym, foosball table, ping pong table and pool table. The included breakfast is big enough and the restaurant provided large portion sizes. The beach is okay for swimming, but aqua shoes are recommended as there are rocks."

"La recepción fue muy sencilla. El personal muy amable. El desayuno excelente. La ubicación era perfecta, está enfrente al lago, aunque queda a 10 minutos del centro de Ohrid. La pileta, si bien no la pudimos usar porque llovió, era muy linda."

No tiene ascensor, lo cual dificulta subir y bajar las valijas. La conectividad a internet era bastante inestable en las habitaciones, aunque en el lobby funcionaba bastante bien. Después, es peligroso salir caminando del hotel debido a que no hay veredas y la calle tiene poca iluminación, además de ser angosta.

"The Uncle and Aunty were very helpful and friendly. Upon receiving they have explained everything in clear words. Everything is written with clear instruction in the house so you don't have any issues using any stuff. It was a wonderful experience...perfect place for a family to stay."

"Very spacious, very private. It was comfortable. We were kindly met at San Marino bus station and taken to the villa. Also kindly taken to the supermarket first to buy some food as the villa is very isolated. Taxi was recommended to us, and was reliable and comfortable. The area was amazing to visit. Information was sent to us to answer our questions. Prompt response."

The villa was further away from the main area of San Marino than expected. As we did not have a car, we were reliant on a taxi, which worked out very expensive. There were a few items in the sink which looked as if intended to be washed up but forgotten. We struggled with sorting out the TV and also finding the right adapter for our chargers and could not find a familiar kettle. These were little things but frustrating after a long journey. It would have been helpful to have an information booklet to explain some of these things so we did not have to keep asking our host.

"Location was perfect, in between two resorts for lovely Spa treatments and excellent dining. Hanna was very helpful with our requests, even dropping off a cake tin so I could make a birthday cake. The complimentary treats were a lovely surprise. We will definitely return. Fa'afetai."

"The view, the house and the sea is unimaginably beautiful. The stairs take you down directly into the sea, and its swimming distance to many of the beaches around. The host is great and it' s easy to communicate. There is wifi, a big plus. Honestly, it's a dream to stay here, it's quiet and calm, relaxing with hammocks and shaded areas, easy to cook together and enjoy."

The road to the house is more of a gravel path most of the time, with a few steep sides.. its really beautiful, also a bit frightening to walk down at first, especially when carrying luggage and bringing kids and so. However, you get really used to it after some trips to the restaurants and small shops. Power outage was rather common mid-day during our stay, maybe it's different during high season. This is just the way it is in this area, and has nothing to do with the house or the host, it's just something to be mindful of. Bring a powerbank 😀
