Breakfast was excellent, freshly prepared each day .We also loved the friendly chats with the host, who is open-minded and always happy to share great food recommendations and tips for activities in the surrounding area. A truly enjoyable stay and a place we would happily return to."

"Duncan and Marina are such a nice couple who provided us with a beautiful accommodation with direct access to the beach and a homely breakfast (loved the homemade blueberry muffins!). We also got great recommendations for the rest of our trip. We would love to have had more time to spend there since it is a perfect spot for a few days of rest (but don't expect warm seawater)."

"The small pool is more a jacuzzi (without the bubbles) than a pool, no shops or restaurants around, so be prepared- and book in advance if coming during high season."

"Kaijaiki is a true gem! I have stood in unit 4 which was super spaciouse, had a lovely well equipped kitchenett and a beautiful, tranquil view onto the courtyard. The next door coffee-store where breakfast is served is so cozy and food is deliciouse. Manager and staff go over and above to make my stay comfortable. Highly recommend it."

"We really enjoyed the accommodation. We were kindly welcomed right at our car for check-in and received plenty of helpful information and guidance. The room is beautiful, spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable, (the bathroom is amazing!) The property is located on a farm, with lovely orchards and a beautiful garden, which we really enjoyed. It’s about 15 minutes from MQP airport; since we planned to leave very early, the host kindly packed our breakfast so we could enjoy it in our room before departing."

"Lovely accommodation in the centre of Wilderness, and excellent value for money. I stayed with my father, each of us in a balcony room. It felt like being in a little European village hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the beds were especially comfortable. Occasional bit of noise from the street, but this comes with the excellent central location. Despite being above a restaurant, we were not bothered at all by noise from below. We were able to park our car at the hotel and walk to restaurants, the shops, and the beach. The restaurant downstairs is fantastic (truly no need to go anywhere else), and they serve a range of well-priced, delicious breakfasts from 7:30 am. After a morning out, I spent the afternoon on the shady balcony, watching the world go by, enjoying the iced water provided, and some snacks from the shop across the road. Blissful. We will definitely be back!"
