"It was unique and the location perfect as we had stopped off in the city of Masaru on the way. We had excellent communication with the host who organised an upgrade as we were two women travelling together and asked for the possibility of twin beds. Mark organised a full day out on his horses with his guide Motobang which was excellent and included lunch. All food was prepared by him and was delicious and plenty."

"Très simple, très naturel,avec beaucoup de bon coeur l'accueil de ce Lodge qui appartient à une école.Le directeur de l'école m'a servi généreusement de taxi plusieurs fois pour me rendre à Levingstone,au Chutes Victoria et j'ai fait un safari avec lui dans son 4×4 pour un prix avantageux."

Le village de Simonga est très authentique de la pauvreté zambienne sans misère,ici ils sont heureux avec très peu. Pour moi habitué à un peu d'abondance il manque beaucoup ici sans aller à la ville.

The budget Dacia Dokker camper doesn't have insulation, be aware!

"We made use of the campsite. The food was amazing and we were very happy to make use of the outdoor shower and having our hiking clothes washed. Back on the trail feeling refreshed! The hosts were very welcoming and made us feel right at home. Would definitely recommend this place!"

"We had the most amazing stay. Everything was magic. The sound of the river and rain hitting the wagon was magical while you slept. "Super accueil de la part d Yves qui nous a explique l origine de ce beau jardín proche de la Forêt et nous a offert une noix de coco a boire. Le campement est calme , la tente est tres confortable et les parties communes toilettes et douche sont tres propres. Nous avons pu cuisiner dans un bel espace en écoutant le chant de la nature....nous recommandons cette belle experience humaine et nature."

"Es hat mir alles gefallen! Ich habe mit meinen zwei Jungs für 4 Nächte im Heu übernachtet. Die Vermieterin ist super freundlich! Der wunderbare Garten hat uns jeden Tag neues entdecken lassen, die Tiere waren toll. Ich habe nichts auszusetzen!"

Leute, die meinen für den günstigen Preis ein 10 Sterne Luxushotel erwarten zu müssen! Wer es klinisch rein haben möchte, sollte in die Stadt fahren und in ein Hotel gehen, nicht aufs Land, auf einen Bauernhof mit Tieren und Heu für ein paar Euro die Nacht!

We got the tent next to washroom, we were hearing the motor sound always even when sleeping.

Ich habe die Stille und das Meeresrauschen sehr genossen, konnte endlich einmal richtig ausschlafen und bei langen Spaziergängen über die Insel abschalten. Abends auf der Terrasse zu sitzen, zu grillen und den Sonnenuntergang zu beobachten, war jedes Mal ein Highlight. Vielen Dank auch für deine freundliche Art und die unkomplizierte Kommunikation – das hat den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht. Ich komme sehr gern wieder und empfehle den „Lieblingsplatz“ mit bestem Gewissen weiter."

Das einzige kleine Manko war die etwas dünne Matratze im Bauwagrn.
