This one doesn't offer the best view, but the terrace even more - an absolutely stunning view. The breakfast is good as well as the dinner. You can walk upon a little rock and enjoy sunrise or sundown with a cool drink and a breathtaking view. The lodge is a nice option for the beginning or the end of a Namibia trip because it's located not far away from the airport and only little more than one hour drive from the city of Windhoek."

I cannot praise this hotel enough, and most importantly, I cannot thank the hotel manager, Mr. Nurlan, enough for what he did for us. Mr. Nurlan was incredibly supportive and helpful in every possible way — not only inside the hotel, but even outside the hotel, assisting us with arrangements, guidance, and personal support that went far beyond his duties. His dedication, generosity, and genuine care are truly rare to find. Thanks to him, our stay was smooth, comfortable, and unforgettable. He turned our visit to Gabala into a perfect experience and set a new standard for what true hospitality means. This hotel is outstanding, but Mr. Nurlan is its greatest asset. Main dining area felt rather utiltarian. Food was fine , service friendly. The bingo/ karaoke evening was good fun

Very isolated, surrounded by an abandoned resort. Menu very limited and expensive although the chef was very obliging and did cook of menu dishes for those who asked. Our room wasn’t cleaned twice and we had to remind someone to do it, we had to move rooms as the toilet facilities broke on our first room but this was handled quickly. For the cost of the room I would have expected a little more e.g. bottled water free in the room, tissues to be available in the room, better quality toilet paper.

the shower needs to be updated it was not a good quality either from the hand held shower or the overhead one and the rooms by the road are noisy even though they said they are insulated, they are not and you can hear the cars very well

"Great small hotel and pub. Good breakfast with pancaces and best scrambled eggs I ever had in any hotel in Europe. They could sell it as separated dish and I would buy it every morning. Lot of TV channels for every taste."
