Its definitely more of a "hang out" hotel for locals to come swim or watch football. It will probably be a little rowdy on some weekends. The staff seemed a little confused how to handle overnight guests.

"Wangdue Eco Lodge is a lovely place tucked high above the Dzong, with amazing views from the room that really make the stay special. The staff were very kind and helpful throughout. Dinner and breakfast were simple but perfectly adequate. The rooms are very spacious, though they could benefit from a few extra touches to make them feel cosier, as they felt a little empty. Overall, a pleasant stay with beautiful views and a peaceful setting."

Breakfast is little bit boring after 4 days

"Location. Restaurant and breakfast room. Delicious. Large, spacious room with a separate bedroom and bathroom. The room was clean. The towels and bedding were clean. The mattresses were comfortable. The kettle was clean. The staff arrived promptly. Everything was fine."

The shower curtain was washed, but it showed signs of wear and tear and needs replacing. That's the only thing

Given that there are no other places close to the hotel where you can buy food , the hotel restaurant should have more choices of food.

I cannot praise this hotel enough, and most importantly, I cannot thank the hotel manager, Mr. Nurlan, enough for what he did for us. Mr. Nurlan was incredibly supportive and helpful in every possible way — not only inside the hotel, but even outside the hotel, assisting us with arrangements, guidance, and personal support that went far beyond his duties. His dedication, generosity, and genuine care are truly rare to find. Thanks to him, our stay was smooth, comfortable, and unforgettable. He turned our visit to Gabala into a perfect experience and set a new standard for what true hospitality means. This hotel is outstanding, but Mr. Nurlan is its greatest asset. "Another comfortable stay at the Gold. Great room overlooking the town and tower. Perfect location and the restaurant food is lovely and reasonably priced. If you want to eat out, Rynek42 and Nomo in town are great places, and the Kebab Inn just a few hundred metres up the road is a great takeaway."

No problems check in and come in all 24 hours. I really recommend this room and owner and I will definitely come back. No problems buy breakfast in hotel downstairs. Price perfect."

"We loved the quiet scenic location and the beautiful, elegant new resort with top tier facilities. Felt pampered by the staff and enjoyed the best massage. The resort provide free shuttle into Koror morning and afternoon, which is ideal for divers heading to the rock island dive sites. Loved the huge wall of windows showing us the turquoise kingfishers and long tailed white tropic birds."

Resort is tailored to Asian touists with a lack of English instructions on remotes, etc, but staff were super helpful.

(לצערנו היה סגור) הבקתה הייתה נקייה ויבשה, מיטה זוגית עם ג'קוזי בחדר, ספה נפתחת, אינטרנט, טלוויזיה, מיקרו, מזגן בכל חדר. כל הבקתות אותו דבר עם גלריה למעלה עם 2 מיטות. הבן אהב לשון שם. מגבות החליפו כל יום. בריכה מקורה ומחוממת וסאונה. שחינו כשבחוץ היה +3 מעלות מטבח כללי גדול עם אפשרות לעשות מנגל גם בפנים וגם בחוץ מול נוף המדהים, כמו כן יש גז, אפשר להכין אוכל. בעל הבית מאוד אדיב ונעים, ממש דאג לכל דבר מה שהיינו צריכים. אפשר לקבל ארוחות בוקר בתשלום. עזבנו את המקום עם חוויות טובות. נחזור."
