"Quite spacious apartment, nicely and stylishly equipped with everything you need even for a longer stay. Possibility of staying even for just one night (for a short trip to La Digue). Well air-conditioned bedroom, large covered terrace, plenty of kitchen equipment. The equipment is a bit older, but everything is functional and it's fine. Pleasant environment aside the main road, located in the garden. Small enclosure of giant turtles right behind the house :-) The property is easy to find, within walking distance of the port, shops and restaurants. Hassle-free check-in and check-out. The owner is pleasant, helpful and communicative. Cash payment on site in various currencies (EUR, USD, SCR). Excellent price-quality ratio on this island."

Although the description of the accommodation on Booking.com states "free bike rental", a separate fee was charged for this service on site. This is the only reason why I gave a reduced overall rating (8 instead of the intended 10). On the other hand, I must say that renting a bike was approximately 15% cheaper than at a rental shop, the owner arranged everything by phone and delivered the bikes within 10 minutes right to the door, and we could return them the next day upon departure, simply at the accommodation, and moreover without being charged a fee for the second day of rental.

"The accommodation was spotless and very comfortable. I particularly loved the beautiful four poster bed and the relaxing bathtub. Lise, the host was extremely kind and attentive.The property is surrounded by beautiful vegetation, making it a very peaceful and charming place to stay. The beach is only about 10min walk away via a lovely path. A truly pleasant experience, excellent value for money. Would happily come back."

"Great place, cooler in the mountains, private pool and view are excellent. Also good firm beds. Nice host, we visited tortoises in the main building and even had a tour of the garden. Highly recommended!"

New frying pans would be good, otherwise all great!

"Nice house equipped with everything you need. Washing machine is in separate building. Very nice beach just across the road, ideal for small children."

Would have been easier to have washing machine in the house, but that's not really an issue.

"Some people complain about the noise from the road nearby, which is really close depending on the apartment you stay in. We were in the apartment next to the reception, and we had no problem with the noise because there were barely any vehicles circulating during the night. We liked this place and this area of the island a lot. The staff were nice and very helpful, thank you for everything!"

The kitchen could be better equipped, we missed a few items, but nothing critical.
